A Thought To Lighten Up A Dark Day

Some days it can become so hard to keep going. Maybe that guy you really liked started dating someone else, or maybe you and your bestfriend you've known forever are in a huge stand off. I know sometimes these situations sound like such trivial things, but at the time it seems like your world is crumbling in around you and it's hard, it's really hard to stay positive. You feel like a cartoon character with a rain cloud over your head. These feelings you are having are totally normal and a lot of girls can relate to what your going through. I love to watch makeup and fashion tutorials on Youtube when I'm bored. One day when I was watching this girl named Chelsea Crockett (AKA BeautyLishiousInsider) she introduced me to this verse that comes from the book of Jeremiah 29:11-13 ; "For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, " plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." When I was introduced to this verse it made me realize that no matter how tough our lives may be in that exact moment, it will turn around. It is such a powerful statement. God knows from the start what his plan is for us. He wants to give us the best lives we could ever live on earth. He is always there for you, even if you don't feel him near. Two weeks after I was first introduced to this first, my church did a VBS at a local apartment complex were there are many underprivileged children. The theme verse for the VBS program we did, was this exact verse. Isn't funny how that happens... If God wants us to realize something, he makes sure that he can implant in our brains at every moment possible.
